Our Story

Artilate was born in Airdrie, Alberta, to connect Canadian chocolate lovers with the true essence of Colombian cacao. With a background in microbiology and food safety, our founder Ingrit Johanna Jaimes brings precision, passion, and heritage into every creation. Each batch is crafted slowly, ethically, and with intention.

How It Started

Travel through cacao regions and time spent with farming communities shaped our respect for origin, transparency, and craftsmanship.

Our first market booth marked the moment Artilate stepped into the public eye — sharing handcrafted bean-to-bar chocolate with Calgary’s community and listening closely to every palate.

Direct relationships with cacao growers in Colombia ensure quality, fairness, and flavors that carry real stories in every bonbon.
